Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just what an independent bookshop shop should be all about: well-stocked shelves covering all genres, a focus on local publishers and authors and friendly staff who can order books for next-day delivery to the shop. Shop local!

They had models from companies I previously only saw on the internet such as mach 2 and xtrakit. They also had lots of weird models such as the pogo and the saunder roe sr/a.1

Across the road from the Ffestiniog Railway - we had half an hour to spare, but could have done with more - and picked up a couple of additions to add to our collection

This is definitely one of my absolute favourite places for coffee, cake, lunch in the area. Up on the first floor of the wonderful Portmeirion Siop Fawr (there's a lift to every floor), the setting is so smart, comfortable with lovely friendly service. There are always some specials to add to the selection on the main menu and the most delicious, freshly baked cakes and scones. One of my favourites is the Ceasar Salad. I usually have it with Chicken and Bacon but the classic version is perfect too. The chef's produce really fabulous, professionally cooked dishes. Always really impressed with everything that comes out of their kitchen. The front of house team are all delightful and make sure the experience is always so good.

This shop is located on the corner by the harbour. Its sister shop (Edinburgh Woollen Mill) is just a few yards below it. Whilst we were shopping in Port this morning (Sunday), we noticed that there was a sale on so we decided to have a browse inside. We both liked the Nauticalia range but these items were not included in the sale. The staff are always helpful and polite.

I loved the shop owner! I asked to only see local made goods and I purchased two sets of sea glass earrings and a woolen scarf that she actually made. She was as excited as I was. Make this shop a stop for yourself. So many cleverly crafted items all unique.

Fabulous shop, with wonderful hand knitted/crocheted items, wooden items and so many more locally made things. You pay for the craftsmanship and knowledge. Anything from here is sure to last for a very long time. Very helpful owner. We returned 3 times for something we wished we had bought whilst we were there, and the wonderful lady owner made us something to take home.

Hubby and me enjoyed a browse around this shop today (Tuesday). Their window display is always interesting. The shelves were neatly stacked with (Welsh) award-winning bottled & canned beers, mini kegs, ciders, wines, spirits and liqueurs. I particularly liked the affordable gift sets. There is a variety of merchandise too. I liked the colour of the clothing. It reminded me of purple heather.

I requested only items made locally. I got earrings and a scarf the owner made. IN my colors. luck!
This place had so much that I would have loved to own. But travel makes it hard to pick up big items.
I could have stayed here longer
Shop lady was so very nice.

I popped in here yesterday morning (Tuesday) whilst my bored Hubby sat on the bench outside! I followed the one-way system around the ground floor. The 2 upper levels were open but are restricted to a limited number of customers at any one time. I purchased a fancy face mask for £4.50 (contactless card payment accepted). I was pleased to see that the previously missing "U" had been returned to its rightful place on the exterior signage!

Hubby and me enjoyed a look inside here on a recent Tuesday. It is situated next to the Cat Protection Charity Shop near the harbour end of the town centre. We have seen many a people admiring the window display. The lady behind the counter was friendly and helpful. Hubby especially liked the hatching dinosaur/egg ornament. I'm a huge fan of all things Alice in Wonderland so he bought me a colourful grinning Cheshire Cat to go with the rest of my collection. I have previously purchased Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy figurines which are comical and quirky.

I popped in here this morning (Wednesday). The lady behind the counter welcomed me in (I was wearing my face mask). The shop smelled lovely thanks to the various scented soaps. I particularly liked the display of hand-crafted enamel brooches. I didn't purchase anything on this occasion, but if I need to buy a special gift for someone, then I will pop in again.
