Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Rides thoroughly enjoyable but 2/5 of the main rides (Colossus and Swarm) were not very accessible to someone like me who has thick thighs. Meaning the seats are tiny. 🙃 only other thing was that a ride closed whilst we were in the queue so that was a tad annoying.

Did get to see the first test of the new ride Hyperia which was nice with the other hundreds of people watching.

Overall lovely day out but those two things were a little upsetting and annoying.

In essence this is a very large trainset. 2 journeys are offered each about 20" long. The trains are ride in rather than ride on, but are small. Model trains themselves excellent and powerful enough to pull 5/6 car trains. The railway is fully signalled just like a full size line. Limited cafe available offering tea coffee bacon/sausage sandwiches and some cakes. Definately worth a visit.

During a brief visit to the town I was able to call into Chertsey Museum. I was made to feel welcome by the very informative and helpful person on reception. The content included local industry and culture and I toured the three floors before a school group arrived and I made a swift exit. Worthwhile if you are in the area.

Had a pump out and diesel fill just before the weather changed. The service was exemplary, nothing was too much trouble even to the extent of helping me back on to my berth as I was by myself, the wind had come up and I wanted to moor stern on over the winter.

Hoping to walk around ruins like those in St Andrew's in Scotland, you'll be very disappointed. After the dissolution of the monasteries by King Henry, the locals reused virtually all of the Abbey stones, leaving only a small wall from an outer building. Next to this is a information board giving some details, but Chertsey museum (free) nearby has a good computer 3D model of what the Abbey was like.
The Abbey park is pleasant and you could miss easily the site of the old abbey fish ponds. A pleasant break but not much to see.

This is a regular for me with my dog in the warmer weather as he can get into the water to cool off, plus he loves to run in longer grass. And my son is able to paddle in the shallows and play with our dog too . However, sadly after only a week of the fishing season starting, there's a lot of "waste" in the reeds, swims and long grass and I sadly don't mean litter, although there's a few bait boxes and lines caught up too. Sadly, dogs and children alike aren't always that careful so its rather disappointing that anyone would leave that for other people to find. Responsible dog owners pick up, however seems humans less so.

Nice surroundings including a real fire. Very pleasant staff and a tasty meal. It was quite a pricy experience; but this seems to be the way of most gastro pubs today. Few customers - which may have been related to Covid Omicron numbers rising. A large outside area for warmer days.

I’ve been going to yoga off and on for years but this is the best class I’ve been to. Vernette is a great teacher. She gives very clear direction and is always careful to make sure you are doing each pose correctly. The classes are always changing so you don’t get bored. They are both challenging and relaxing and I couldn’t recommend enough.
