Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- hendy25Roskilde, Denmark17 contributionsThis cave is a must-see if you are visiting Bad Segeberg or its surroundings. The air is cold (10 degrees) and invigorating. It is a natural wonder that really leaves a lasting impression. It's worth the trip if you can climb it. Don't be scared of the bats - they fly around you, but don't hit you.Written 27 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John RDevon, UK96 contributionsInteresting, well structured and well presented facility giving you a great insight into the life of bats. The exhibition is over 4 levels, each level focuses on a particular aspect.
Not well sign posted, and no car parking near by. If you time your visit to coincide with their open air festival performances, you may get stuck in traffic and car parking will be pretty difficult. Photography not permitted.Written 10 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My German grandkids love it. Karl May wrote about 90 books about cowboys and Indians in the Wild West. It’s not very authentic but the stunts and scenery are fantastic.Written 8 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
