Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was a firm favourite for a walk when I lived in the town of Wellington,.so on a trip back we decided to talk a walk to see the improvements that have been made after the building repair work to the site.
It’s been a while since I have been back!

Car park is bigger then before and now parking is payable via a machine however it was not working on our visit .
Despite a damp and misty afternoon we were up in the clouds up here it was a lovely stroll.
The only issue I have is the few dog walkers that don’t consider others while walking and thinking it’s ok for their dog to run up and approach children who are scared and one even jumping up!
If you have a dog and cannot get it to come back on command then please stick it on a lead when others around as not all people like dogs for a variety of reasons.

Popped in for lunch and a look round. Good range of products in the garden centre but the restaurant was so expensive. If I wanted to pay those sort of prices I would go to a restaurant to be served and not queue up to order. Food was ok, staff helpful and friendly but nothing special for the money.

Beautiful setting with alpacas galore. You can sit In With the babies and learn so many interesting facts whilst watching them in their own habitat. You can then walk to the fields to see the older ones. Such a peaceful relaxing morning. Would recommend to anyone. The host is fantastic, so welcoming and knowledgeable.

A 'must visit' for any fan of real ale. Ignore the unusual (trading estate) setting - once you are inside its just like any local pub, only cosier (max capacity 25). But it's not the decor you're here for - it's the diverse selection of intriguing but outstanding ales, all brewed on premises. On our visit we sampled 'The Desperado', brewed with mashed limes, 'Black Russian' brewed with coffee, and 'Waterloo Square' a more traditional variant. If you like the sound of those, don't be too disappointed when you don't find them - there are another 48 beers, available on rotation. As a Londoner on a visit to the area, this was an unexpected and welcome surprise.

Sought out a place to have a family picnic at short notice and buy, what a place this is. Gorgeous park to wander around and enjoy. Benches, fountain, pond, grass, paths, great for families and people of all ages, dogs too! We enjoyed the plants on display and played boules on the grass. Lovely couple of hours with family.

Hidden inside a industrial building on an industrial estate is surprisingly a nice slice of victoriana in the shape of a pub the likes of which are getting scarce. Warm welcome, premium spirits. 10 awesome real ales and one cracking cider. Also a great venue for bands, parties etc. Loved it.

I'm not much of an art lover. I'm actually quite the opposite and find "Lovies" really annoying. But that's what I quite liked about this place. It featured a few regional artists who simply have a passion for making what they love and depicting what they care about and are interested in, as opposed to being all airy-fairy full of rubbish and pomp style artists. It feels like real art for real people and I loved that.

This is a collective of exceptional artists which could well make you believe that Wellington is the grounds of an artistic revolution based on creating something respectable and relatable...which it could well be.

The reason for the full 5* is because I looked at some of the art work and thought, I could imagine myself doing that (definitely not to that level of skill or quality) but I looked and thought about making art. Never before have I had that feeling. I was not wowed with wonder, but I was impressed and inspired to be creative.

As an art exhibit I must say, I am not a fan of art, but enjoyed this.

Interesting visit to a very small but informative museum. I leant a few things about Wellington and the Duke of Wellington that I did not know before my visit. The textile industry was also very prolific in this area.

The Basins is a local nature conservation area between Wellington and the neighbouring community of Rockwell Green comprising two small ponds separated by a walkway and set in several acres of open countryside intersected by streams.
The ponds, which are a popular local fishing venue, were built in the early 19th century to provide a controllable water supply via a complicated system of leats, sluices, and fenders to power water wheels at the former Fox Brothers woollen mill.
The ponds can be circumnavigated on foot and there is a footpath all the way to Rockwell Green.
It is accessible for wheelchairs and buggies and people with impaired mobility. Limited car parking is available on site, or there is a large car park at the nearby Wellington Sports Centre.
It is suitable for families with young children, although care must be taken because of deep water in places, and it is ideal for dog walkers, picnickers, and nature lovers in general.
There is plenty of wildlife to see, including swans, ducks, moorhen, geese, coots, kingfishers, wagtails, reed buntings, dippers, owls, five different types of bat, rabbits, squirrels, foxes.
The habitat is varied, including grassland, hedges, and a community woodland with many tall trees.
It is a natural gem and is maintained by members of the Wellington Basins Volunteer Group.

Amazing place with lovely items. My wife saw a dress but wasn't 100% so didn't buy it......yes you've guessed, on way home (we don't live nearby we're visiting family) she changed her mind.

After a quick call with Carie (who was so helpful, she sorted everything out over phone) dress was delivered a few days later and very happy wife!!

Visited as 2 adults. Booked the 2 hour all inclusive. There wasn't really a great deal to do and was a lot smaller than expecting. We left after an hour as we got bored
Staff were lovely and we enjoyed the included hot dogs. Definitely would not have been thrilled to pay for them. All in all, different day out for us was OK but wouldn't return

A wonderful cinema with everything you want- it's clean, you can have an alcoholic drink if you want, comfy seats, nice staff, popcorn and ice cream. Amazingly cheap too, especially compared to Exeter prices. Well worth the 20 minute journey from Cullompton environs.
