Great for families. Your and tasting were interesting and engaging. Juice for the kids was thoughtful. Beautiful location and building.

Loch Muick and the surrounding area is breath-taking. If you do the full loop, as we did, you may find it a bit challenging navigating the rocks.

If you have mobility or balance issues when you are near the loch there is a pathway that veers to the right ... take this path (it's the return if you do the full loop). When you reach the far end turn back and return on the same pathway.

Had a great visit to the museum today. Lots to see for big and small people. Boys aged 3 and 6 loved getting to go in some of the vehicles and enjoyed looking for the toys. Nice lunch in the cafe too. A great way to pass a very wet July day!

OMG - This place is amazing. The Linn of Dee Bridge itself is enchanting with water cascading over sunlit quartz mica stone ledges. The circular 1 1/2 hr walk along the Glen Lui trail is mostly level and provides plenty of beautiful opportunities for photo shots along the river surrounded by the natural pinewoods. Although we didn't spot any iconic Scottish wildlife, the sun was shining and we thoroughly enjoyed our walk.

Absolutely pristine ( as you would expect!)
Lovely grounds that you could easily spend a few hours exploring and well worth getting the audio guide
Slightly expensive but quality food but very expensive gift shop

Lots of castles to choose from but 'the pink one' caught our eye.
It was a guided tour with Myles, who was an engaging young man, who gave us a good history of the Castle and its social history i.e. how castles change ownership as fortunes ebb and flow.
The tour is only about an hour but the grounds are extensive so you can go for walks on trails through the grounds too and you could spend hours here.

Lovely peaceful spot. Went for a short walk. Small visitor centre, with toilets nearby. Small car park very busy (noon on sunny day).

I would definitely recommend visiting this first community-run castle in Scotland! Great staff, lots to see, and history-rich!

Pleasant walk through stunning scenery, weather was wet but mild. Lots of previous rainfall made the waterfall a great visit.

A cute little train station that stopped train service in 1966. That being said warm helpful service from two smiling ladies. They were proud to share local stories and provide great information. This royal stop en route to Ballmoral felt totally quaint and regal. The restaurant was lovely. The scones were delish and the gift shop was fun. The candy store next door was super as well. Cute gift tins designed for those at home minding the pets
    Worth a stop.
