- chrysalis100Agra, India93 contributionsPart of this beautiful beach was private for our hotel and we had lovely loungers with service. The beach was beautiful sand and sloping gently into the sea. There was always something to watch with local fishermen hauling their nets, motor boats around the bay, and at the end was a mosque and small market.Written 9 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Britta V1 contributionI had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Zuri hotel in Kumarakom for 14 nights framed by an Ayurvedic program at their Maya Spa.
After the first medical assessment by the extremely capable und understanding Dr. Alvin, my daily treatments (two per day) were adjusted to my Dosha type and personal aims (stress relief & relaxation).
My therapist for the whole time was the wonderful Mrs. Saranya, my angel, who worked magic during those days.
I was lucky enough to experience their signature treatment „Nirvana“ including a Shirodhara several times and the Marma Massage surely counts among my favorites.
The herbal tea after the treatments in their quiet relaxation lounge has been delicious and the perfect „put-your-mind-at-rest“ procedure for me.
Make sure to also enjoy some time at their gorgeous pool, especially at sunset when it is peacefully quiet and the view is simply breathtaking.
In general all members of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and guest focused.
For me, there was nothing more to wish for: I found heaven on earth. - Claire GraffCumming, GA2 contributionsLook no further - book here! The passion and care from Canoe Kerala is unmatched. We did the 6 hr sunrise canoe with village life and cooking class. We felt safe with the food, which was delicious, and learned so much about local life and cooking Indian food. They worked with us on our interests and dietary restrictions. The backwaters were lovely with the lilies and we wouldn’t change a thing.Written 25 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anand1 contributionMy girlfriend and I were on vacation in india and took some ayurveda treatment in allepey, where we got connected to Anil Kumar, wich was the best thing that could have happend to us. We had private lessons each day for one week, wich was perfect because i am a beginner in yoga and Anil was kind enough to put an eye on me and teached me how to improve my body and showed me on which parts i have to keep an eye on. We really hope to see you again, Anil, and I do hope that you keep up your precious work to help people getting in balance. Wish you all the best!!
