Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a find. The guided tour is a must. Our guide, literally, brought the exhibition to life. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. I highly recommend.

Well having visited The Musical Museum the day before it seemed only fair to visit another nearby museum. Once again we had a fascinating morning walking round the history of how humans have dealt with finding water, making it safe to use and disposing of our 'unwanted' human waste. The collection of steam engines and the evolution into electrification of water management is quite something. A brilliant place to take children too.

Only a 4 due to the gardens being a bit of a disappointment at this time of year. However we had a guided tour of the house and it was very good indeed. Very knowledgable guide, really interesting history and some great rooms to see. Without a guided tour we feel you might have walked through too quickly, missed a lot of very interesting information, plus the little sneaky hidden rooms that otherwise you would probably just walk by. Definitely worth a visit.

Fortunate enough to make use of the Legends Lounge before the game.

The staff were all excellent from entry to service. The food available was all very tasty and not overpriced as you’d normally expect at the football. Easy to get to the bar before the game. At halftime there were complimentary refreshments which was a nice surprise.

The stadium is impressive and definitely one to tick off as a visiting football fan

Beautifully restored house. The cosy Potting Shed cafe in the park is miles nicer (and a bit cheaper) than the cafe in the house. (Stale cakes and pallid pastries and we won't bother again.)

We enjoyed our unscheduled wander along the canal basin, there is a little museum and information hut where you must pop in and learn about the history of this unusual double-lock canal, Staff/volunteers were friendly and willing to chat (when not helping folks get through the lock). A heron suddenly appeared which made our morning.

Great little park close to a country estate. Especially pretty in autumn with all the trees flowering. Also as some water with bird life and a nice little playground

Pretty decent soft play however let down by the fact the food is inedible and the staff are all gossipy children talking about you behind their back.
Really puts you off coming back as the actual soft play is pretty good.
    Shame

This workshop was absolutely brilliant - packed with new skills and techniques and using a wonderful variety of oats, rye, wheat, seeds and enriched dough to make both savoury breads and sweet pastries. We went away with bags groaning with goodies and a great sense of satisfaction. Hen Corner workshops are so convivial and Sara is the ultimate generous and knowledgeable tutor.

Visited the Kallima spa for the first time in years. The spa was clean, the reception staff helpful and quick to resolve the slight problem that occurred on our visit. We all had the jet lag package encompassing a massage, foot scrub and facial - Faith who carried out my treatments was excellent and checked I was happy throughout the treatment and modifying to suit my preferences. The relaxation area post treatments was lovely. We also had lunch included in our package and between us choose the salmon, pasta and Caesar salad - all delicious as were the extras we ordered. However, there was an extremely long wait for the food - almost 45 minutes.
Overall a highly enjoyable day and we look forward to a return visit
