What a gem of a place! Such an interesting and unique history told to us by tour guide Craig who was very engaging and clearly knows his stuff! The interactive elements were great and I had not expected to be witnessing a murder trial - loved it! The bistro is a great addition to the house, such friendly staff, and we had a lush High Tea after the Tour. Very reasonably priced, easy cheap parking across the road. Thank you to everyone at Llanelly House for a thoroughly enjoyable time 😊

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The centre had the usual collection of waterfowl plus some storks. The hides are well worth visiting. There was a merlin on the estuary and some spoonbills on a pool. We saw over 40 wild bird species. The cafe served a lovely bacon and sourdough bap. We visited the centre midweek and we were surprised at how quiet it was.

Great place, didn’t know it even existed. I am a fan of German beer having spent time living with the folk and partaking of the stuff for a longtime. I attended for German evening and it was awesome.
Huge selection of good beers from various parts. Cannot fault the place and Dave the owner who has a massive knowledge of beer.

The museum reopened after closing before Covid for extensive external repairs to the tower and the roofs and internal rewiring, new central heating boiler, new security equipment , new CCTV equipment and redecoration throughout. There is a new main side entrance through the old cafe which is now a reception, gift and bookshop with self service refreshment facilities. The three ground floor galleries have been reorganised with new displays for the Llanelly Pottery collection, the paintings collection and the Parc Howard Story. These areas on the ground floor were officially reopened on December 1st as phase one of the project with three more galleries on the first floor featuring the Llanelli Story displays and a temporary exhibition room reopening by Easter 2024.

I have visited this venue twice this month, and both times were magical.
The first was a concert with adult family members. Staff were friendly and professional and couldn't have been more helpful. The second occasion was on Halloween with my grandchildren. The event was very well organised and the children loved it. Ffwrnes is a small theatre which offers the more "personal " touch. Ibwould highly recommend a visit.

If you love art then visiting this gallery is a must. Denise's work it stunning, her use of colours just beautiful. We first came across her artwork a couple of years ago and made a point of visiting the gallery. Denise and her husband are so helpful and welcoming, it will be a place that we continue to go back to I'm sure.

We parked at the North Dock for a coastal walk with our dogs. There was a lot of dog poo that other dog owners hadn’t picked up. From the Discovery Centre we walked to the left and then double backed and walked as far as Pwll before turning round. Stopped for lunch in St Elli’s Bay bistro. It was busy, seemed cramped and was pricy but the ham, egg and chips hit the spot.

Spent an enjoyable Hour and a half at their running day this morning. A few exhibits including 2 ex island line tube stock units to see and a small shop.

The railway is very much a work in progress but they have good ambitions and, like all such ventures, it will take time to develop.

Children will enjoy the shortish train ride and there is a nice nature area as well.

Looking forward to going back again to see how they getting in
