Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Sheryl CColorado Springs, CO19 contributionsThis is one of the highlights of Saratov, walking by the Volga, you would think they would try to keep it up and keep it clean and well maintained. Maybe in the spring they do. Still, its a nice play to ride a bike or jog. No bathrooms anywhere so make plans with children to go before you visit.Written 16 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ActRegular_travellerCanberra, Australia2,588 contributionsWe visited as part of a group tour. The park offers a wonderful panorama over the city of Saratov, has a very nice war memorial with an eternal flame and has an extensive collection of vehicles from WW2 and later spread around a large area.
The main feature of the park is a column with 12 stylised cranes (the birds). The vehicles cover mainly Soviet vehicles and include many from the Cold War era as well as WW2. There is one German Tiger tank & a very decrepit German half track. The Soviet armoured train is a nice touch! Lots of aircraft and helicopters (all later than WW2) and Soyuz and Vostok capsules. Also a memorial to firefighters.Written 20 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alexander_KudrinSamara, Russia13,603 contributionsThe monument is located on the pedestrian street of Kirov and you are unlikely to miss it walking here.
It is a bronze statue of a young man with a bunch of flowers. Near the monument there is a lantern with a clock that plays the motive of the song “There are so many golden lights on the streets of Saratov” every 15 minutes, which is the unofficial anthem of the city.
The monument, symbolizing the single guys from this song, was erected on August 14, 2009 with the support of the MegaFon company.
The author of the monument is the Saratov sculptor Nikolai Bunin.
There is a belief that a girl, having taken a picture with a sculpture of a guy, will soon marry happily.Written 25 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
