What travellers are saying
- BillyDeeside, UK13 contributionsGood views, well organised to not too busy. 3d display was only ok. Chinese village is mostly shut. We spent about 3 hours on the skywalk experienceWritten 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sightseer316986377171 contributionThe whole experience was really exciting and fun. We got to learn so many new interesting facts about saltwater crocodiles and there were so many different species there. A special thanks to kak Suriana for bringing us around the whole park and teaching us about the crocs. overall it was an amazing experience. definitely would recommend and is worth going there again.Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NickGiGermany23 contributionsWhen visiting Langkawi the Sky Bridge is a beautiful must do! The journey in the Cable Car ( Sky Cab) is very relaxing, I would really recommend going in the 360 cable car because it is not so hot inside! The views are breathtaking nice and for sure you will take some nice photos ;-)Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - middlegamlondon201 contributionsWide beach and a good length, lovely fine sand. It’s quieter towards Casa Del Mar end but alas as others have stated, it’s become very busy with jet skis during the day and vehicles driving up and down the sand dropping & collecting them in the morning and evening. The cars / trucks don’t seem to care about people walking along the beach and often people have to jump out of the way as the cars try to go up the inclines. Also as the block footpath runs the length of the beach this is now used by mopeds to drive up and down all day long again forcing people to get out of the way. Lots of rubbish left on beach at sunset, but this generally gets cleared up the next morning or sadly washed into the sea. Construction taking place and some larger buildings being built, especially towards the Park Royal end where what looks like a rather large development is being built, Tropicana Cenang.Written 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kavin VNamakkal, India52 contributionsWe visited this place via a package but it’s very good. The boat ride is pretty good and enjoyable. The geo park is clean and neat.Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jimmy B2 contributionsDecent beach made better by the fact there's a good group of food stalls set up right there. Unfortunately for us, these were closed as our visit coincided with Ramadan. However, Scarborough Fish and Chips was open and the beers were cold.Written 18 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Eugene FLimassol City, Cyprus27 contributionsAmazing experience but make sure the waterfall is not very dry.
Friends went rigbt after the dry season and told us that there was hardly any water, but we went right after a rainfall and it was super. The waterfall is at level 3, but if you can physically do it and it's a good day, make sure to climb 600 stairs to level 4 (bridge) cz its the most beautiful and serene place to dive in the wells overlooking the mountain.Written 8 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Obviously this is more interesting if you have a little children, but it was fine. Personally I much more enjoyed visiting the four seasons for a cocktail.Written 5 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s clean and everything was powered, so it’s okay to eat (i think). We didn’t have any issues. Parking it tricky and suggest walking.Written 21 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Ironically we hadn't intended to visit as we were due to ride the cable car but it was too windy for them to run in the morning so our excursion visited here as the Plan B. Although disappointed to miss out on the cable cars and sky bridge, we actually really liked our visit to Underwater World.
As aquariums go it was pretty decent, it's the largest attraction of its type in Malaysia and included a wide range of exhibits. You had the usual mix of jellyfish, turtles, stingrays etc, but they had a wonderful display of rockhopper penguins where you could watch them on the rocks or head to a lower viewing area and see them swimming from underneath them. Very cool idea.
Other exhibits included catfish, sharks, a tropical rainforest area, Koi Carp, eels, coral garden fishes, a 15-meter tunnel where you are surrounded by giant stingrays, groupers and turtles, and some reptile displays with snakes. At the end of the walk around there was a large gift shop that also sold duty-free goods with a wide selection of chocolates and alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices.
All in all we enjoyed our visit here...an hour was just enough time to see the various exhibits, watch them feed the rays, and check out the cute penguins too.Written 29 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
