Cannot say enough good about this place
We had a spare day in Calgary before we picked up the RV and it was a fantastic way to spend it. The park is wonderful and the staff are very nice and informative the restaurant was good and the cafes the same. They have a proper steam train going through the park. For young kids or old this is a top attraction

This is a really great zoo, the animals appeared to be well cared for and so much to see. We especially liked the penguins and appreciated the helpful staff.

We had such a peaceful visit coming here! There's paid parking available across the road, and a small bridge connecting the two together make it great for a leisure walk. There's cute little sculptures around the park, so see if you can find them along your trail! Plenty of benches to rest on, so you can also watch the cute little ducks waddle around or maybe a squirrel climb a tree. All in all, this was a great stop to smell the roses as some would say.

I took the kids for a long walk and swim in the Bow River, they loved the beautiful walk but the water was way too cold for swimming.

It's been twenty years since I last toured the galleries. The addition of the Naval Museum makes this a great afternoon out.
Although I have never been to the War Museum in Ottawa which honours Canada's extensive military past, but from what i see here at the museum today , it makes me feel like if its almost as good on smaller scale . Very educational indeed.

We attended one of the jumping competitions at Spruce Meadows. The grounds are very beautiful, immaculately maintained. There are some good (though pricey) options for food and drink, as well as some souvenir shops focused on horse riding memorabilia, as well as the professional soccer club (Calgary Cavalry) which plays its home games at the premises.

I did enjoy once again the experience of watching the horses jumping and walking around the very picturesque premises, especially after the grounds were basically closed for a couple of years due to covid. It is one of a type kind of experience in Calgary, and a great activity for children too!

Since it was difficult to park in Calgary, I found it very advantageous to walk around this major city. Once I parked my car, I became a pedestrian. There were many paths in which to walk throughout the city and I enjoyed the great gardening skills exhibited throughout Calgary. The architecture of the skyscrapers and of the residential buildings were fascinating. There were also many waterways to cross by a number of bridges.

Poles and clamps for your footwear would be helpful but we managed with runners and hiking boots. The creek is frozen with some open patches of slow-running water: just gorgeous ice crystals along the edges of the open water spots! We enjoyed walking on the creek for an unique view that is normally inaccessible to foot traffic.

Was a return visit and it holds up as my favorite music museum. International superstars are interspersed with Canadian stars this American isn’t familiar with. Very interactive; I could have spent all day learning guitar from Randy Bachmann video and playing with other instruments. Nice performance space for shows. A real gem
