- Kate C1 contributionHad a fantastic time! Lots for the whole family - Sophia was super helpful sorting out tickets. She helped navigate us around the exhibit and she was very kind and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!!Written 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- nessLakenheath, UK9 contributionsWhat a great way to spend a couple of hours! We did the cocktail making class and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The host was great, knowledgeable and very good at creating a fun time for all. Made three cocktails, all delicious and we’ve been drinking the Basil Smash since being home, what a revelation! Yummy! Highly recommend the experience!Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Chris LSelby, UK57 contributionsWe went to even song. The service was excellent but the choral singing even better than that!

If you're anywhere near Cambridge you have to visit the River Cam, take a punt (guided) and enjoy all the sights, food, shopping, etc. Depending on the time of year, some of the colleges are open to visitors. They were filming a movie when we went. Lots to do and see. Way to much to put in this short review. It is a wonderful town and most yanks (and others) enjoy themselves.Written 26 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kalpana MeherUnited Kingdom7 contributionsBeautiful afternoon, even though it's freezing outside! I made a reservation for the afternoon tour with William, who was incredibly informed and made the garden seem alive. The tour was only scheduled to last approximately an hour, but as a volunteer, he gave up ninety minutes of his time to explain us about the significance of the more important trees and plants in the gardens' history.Written 10 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AnnaW1009East Kilbride, UK5 contributionsFantastic day, informative, and I learned so much. Discovered, I actually like some white wines!
Mark was just brilliant, natural humour a d he kept us all engaged.
Lunch was beautiful, too.
Added bonus was a short tour of the college and gardens.

The adults relived our childhoods seeing BBC, Acorn and Spectrum computers and the young really enjoyed the history of gaming. Friendly staff, really informative displays and fun. Well worth the visit.Written 10 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Philip PHerentals, Belgium1,426 contributionsWe were so happy to just pass by when a group of graduates arrived. The mere respect for tradition is stunning. - Anony M2 contributionsMy husband and I were having a very rare weekend away without our little one, and we essentially stumbled across the museum whilst wondering around Cambridge. I was aware of it as had seen it when doing some research, however we had not really planned to visit. We spent probably 1 - 1.5 hours in this particular museum and this was probably my favourite of the 3 we visited during our time in Cambridge. It was absolutely fascinating. We visited early March and so it wasn't too busy. but I imagine it could get quite crammed in the summer months as it is quite small and a lot of the exhibits are very close together. Overall though, this was a fabulous stop on our journey and I would absolutely visit again.Written 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ChloeLondon, UK7 contributionsWe visited Bottisham Airfield museum with 90 Y6 children and seven members of staff. Every single person who attended, no matter what their age, had an amazing day. Many staff members and pupils spoke of how it's the best trip they have ever been on. We had a variety of activities that not only brought the children's learning to life but thoroughly engaged them during every moment of the trip. One staff member commented how they had never seen a group of children so thoroughly engaged on a trip before. The whole day was uniquely tailored to what we wanted to learn about too!
The dedication of the staff (who are all volunteers) was unlike anything we have seen before. Their passion for the local history and spreading this to others shines through. They clearly care deeply about the museum and the experience others have at the site, but also, they invested in the children and staff as individuals. We felt cared for and valued as visitors. Suzie, in particular, put a lot of time and effort in to plan a day which would ensure we had an experience to remember.
Overall, I truly can't think of enough words to express what an incredible time we had. We can't wait to go back next year with a new group of children for them to have the chance to love the day as much as we did.Written 15 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I visited Kettle’s Yard in October on a rainy day. It was so nice to step out of the rain to enjoy art in a really unusual way. Kettle’s Yard does not feel like a traditional art gallery as it displays all different kinds of art throughout a home. It’s more of an experience. It’s really nice to take your time looking around, even sitting on the chairs provided, as the more you look – the more you see!
Be careful to arrive on time as it is a timed ticket and you aren’t allowed in if you arrive early.
The shop is worth a visit too – it has some lovely gifts in it.
