Probably the best attraction in Aarhus. A fantastic museum! We particularly enjoyed the diaramas and were grateful that everything was translated into english either on text or with headphones. Would 100% recommend going here if you get the chance.

Second visit in 6 months, I plan to go again in the summer next year. Interesting place where you can learn a lot more about Aarhus, previous Danish buildings, history and culture.

Really enjoyed my time wandering around Aros. The top floor is the rainbow area and on a blue sky day was great.

The other floors have some permanent exhibitions and some temporary ones.

The Boy and The Baby are extraordinary and I couldn’t believe it when I stumbled across Warhol’s set of Marilyn Monroe pictures.

The ground floor is more immersive art.

Gift shop lovely and also the food in the cafe and restaurants.

Beautiful flowers in the greenhouses, also a nice change of climate on a cold day. Great for kids and anyone who likes nature. Also free!

Lovely opportunity to get close to deer and enjoy a woodland walk. It’s free to enter the park and you can stay for as long as you like. The stags were noisy and entertaining at this time of year.

Close enough to the center of town that it’s worth a visit even if just to stop in and appreciate the view from the top floor.

The architecture of this cathedral is quite beautiful and sits proudly visible from many points of the harbour and squares. The inside is also very interesting to see

Musikhuset is a good place for everyone, you can be there with your friends, your family , or by yourself. There is a nice restaurant inside the lobby.

Incredible experience from a small museum. The staff were really helpful and the creation and curating of the museum is obviously a labour of love for those involved. I particularly enjoyed the interrogation experience and the interaction of the actors in the video presentations of the occupation experience, both very innovative.

Good for a wander, cobbled streets and small independent stores good to spare an hour. Name is interesting, not Latin in the sense many would think!

The Moesgaard Forest has a variety of scenery, from the silent beach in the east to the rolling hills and tranquil forest.

Lovely little street, very pretty, and great for a few photos. Tucked away right in the heart of the city so you’re bound to come across it.
