Family owned and operated. We enjoyed the friendly knowledgeable tour of the working farmWritten 25 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The walk though… the walk is interesting.
Around a 180m stair climb. By the end of the day it my fitness tracker was showing 41 stairs climbedWritten 4 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Funny, kind, and full of information about their home, community and business.
We started in their village where they told us some of their history there in a cute church. Then a short walk to their family’s lemon grove where we samples lemon aid and wandered learning about it all.
After that we took a super fun ride in a three wheeler Ferrari whipping through the windy narrow streets. It took us up to their farm where we got to do an olive oil tasting and had an entertaining cheese making demonstration with lots of samples!!!! And cute kittens and farm animals.
Then back to their family restaurant to make pizza with their uncles. So tasty!!

Their place is just beautiful, the most spectacular views in the most tranquil of settings. Loved meeting the donkeys, cow, horse and chickens. Fed Wendy and her donkey friend with carobs and managed to keep all our fingers- just! A sumptuous home cooked lunch of local produce, assisted by two adorable kittens, followed by four liqueurs- my favourite was the finnochietto 😋. Ilaria and Gianni are such lovely hosts and we loved meeting them again. Unfortunately we had to depart for the trek back to Termini for the last bus to Sorrento. We love this place and would recommend it to anyone who would like to visit a beautiful smallholding with gorgeous animals, spectacular setting and views and genuinely warm Italian hospitality. Be prepared for the 30 to 40 min walk down from Termini and back along a lovely but fairly steep country lane, we would recommend comfortable walking shoes. Grazie mille Ilaria e Gianni. - Alex B1 contributionWas an absolutely incredible experience. The venue, the food, the wine and not to mention how amazing Guillermo took care of us, all of it was 10 out of 10. He provided my friends and I with a completely unique experience and an assortment of local foods and wines. His passion and commitment is unmatched. Would have happily paid twice the amount without doubt. Would recommend to absolutely anyone! - GrandTour7902586 contributionsJust above the lovely village of Santa Agata is this monasteryPriory. The main building and church were closed when we arrived, but there was a volunteer with the key to the tower waiting for visitors on foot (drive closed). In return for a small offering to the church you can climb the tower right to the top (don't miss final few steps) and find a magnificent 360 degree view encompassing the Gulf of Sorrento, the Gulf of Naples, the Amalfi Coast and Capri. That summed up all we saw in a 7 day visit to the area. 8 nuns still live there and there is also a little shop where you can hand-made goods they have made.Written 20 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JP PLuxembourg5 contributionsA marvelous place in front of Capri, with an authentic view!
Pay the fee of 15€ for entrance you enjoy, seat and umbrella included ! Very sad that the old infrastructure is out of service ...but you have a bar and a self service with good products to a fair price !Written 4 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. After the hike, stop by for a coffee and authentic Italian food at Chiosco Bar San Costanzo. You'll pass it on the way out.Written 14 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- The Chauffeur of PositanoPositano, Italy914 contributionsThe territory of the Reserve is characterized by homogeneity in the landscape and in the natural aspects of great importance at a global level, by the historical and cultural quality of the sites, by the presence of tourist settlements, of food and alimentary and artistic craftsmanship, by commercial activities, and by high-quality tourist services. Because of the calcareous nature of the peninsula, the area is characterized by karst phenomena leading to the formation of a considerable number of emerged cavities, which became underwater because of tectonic movements and of the raising of the sea level. Among the most spectacular ones there is the Grotta della Cala di Mitigliano in which, at not a very great depth, you can explore the charming world of the underwater dark caves.Written 7 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ScotlandmacGlasgow, UK13,825 contributionsBeautiful hike once you leave the woodland area below Torca village and come onto the flat path and the built steps. Before that, I nearly gave up as I thought it was going to be rocky all the way with no views.
Well described in a small book on hiking we picked up for free at Massa Lubrense tourist office.
Small parking area in the village of Torca beside the church(paid parking though free from 1pm till 5pm.) Route starts off on tarmac down through the village then becomes a rocky track for 20 mins through woods.A signpost suggests it will take 1hr 20 but we were much less than this.
Then the path crosses a small bridge and evens out thankfully before heading for a lovely balcony area with terrific views over the hillside and the coast and the sea.Even walking to here would be well worth it! The landscape is very wild and unspoiled, no houses or wires or other detritus of human habitation.I loved the area for that.
The really hard work then begins… 700 beautifully made steps down to the cove!
Each 50 steps is marked with an indicator so you know how far you have to go.
Lovely old chapel above the cove.Wildflowers all around.
The cove is just ok…pleasant enough, not wow.Quite narrow and I wouldn’t fancy swimming there with the swell that comes in, though people do.
It was 23C in March when we did the hike and I would hate to do it in higher temperatures as there’s little shade for the hardest section. It’s a thought to have to slog all the way back up! That said, it felt shorter going up somehow.
We are in our 60s and used to hillwalking and were under an hour down and about the same up plus 15 mins for water and a rest at the cove.5 mins at the delightful little chapel.
Beautiful hike but not one I’d necessarily do again all the way.Onto the open hillside would still be very rewarding with a nice picnic.Written 16 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - James OGerrards Cross, UK1 contributionParking is €10 for a car for the day/evening. Be very wary of paying more, they will try to charge you extra, sometimes €15, even €20, just laugh at them and say you know it's €10, they will eventually give it to you for €10, after suggesting you go up the hill and park there for €2. They will offer to park your car for you but I'd suggest parking it yourself and keeping your keys on you, don't leave valuables in your car or anything in sight just in case.
Le Sirene is the best value meal we had, lovely seafood and lovely service, but prebook for weekends or large groups. Avoid Cantuccio as it's overpriced and not great service.Written 16 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. First time we drove to this beach, we could not access the beach, the gate was locked. There was no other access we could find, therefore we needed to go back. But caution! The streets is very narrow and hardly a 2 line way. We did the mistake on driving the whole way down with our car, with almost to opportunity to turn the car around. It tooks us 30 mins and 500 strokes to get the car to the right directions.
However, which makes it 3 stars is our experience after we got there with our boat. The beach is wonderful, clean and calm water. Beautiful views and definietly an amazing experienceWritten 29 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
