What travellers are saying
- cathngazBolton, UK16 contributionsWe booked the Bronze VIP experience for my birthday treat, we stayed at the campsite next door so really convenient and had lots of time to spend there. Big shout out to our fab tour guides (sorry ladies I forgot your names was on 2pm tour on Saturday 16th) your were so amazing getting us really close to the animals and thank you for changing the tour around so we saw the lions first, otherwise they may have gone to bed !!. Thank you for taking time to mention we could get a coffee and cake as part of experience and dropping us off at the square to we did'nt have to walk home and so I could see the Owls, unfortunately I missed this they had shut down for day. Would do again may even upgrade to silver next birthday! Also sending a great big thank you to Richard who spent time explaining the grounds to us and advising us on how to use our time best (Richard was in Ticket office next to campsite). We met him a few times he was soooo lovely. Please support Longleat its a fab place and all the staff we met were so happy and helpful. Just one downpoint, we were told on the phone that we could'nt walk to the meeting point for the safari as it was'nt safe, they could pick us up but could'nt guarantee it, we didnt want to take our van off site, also did'nt want not risk not getting picked up. We did manage to walk as Richard showed us where to go took 10 mins, no problems. Sorted this the day before our experience.Written 18 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- David E1 contributionWe went to see the pantomime as a family and for a local theatre it was a fantastic show with plenty of laughs, people of all ages came and we will definitely book again as a family event.
The theatre is well looked after, welcoming staff mainly volunteers and good facilities including a bar upstairs with plenty of space to sit in the interval or before the show. Also ice creams treats for the interval.
We are lucky to have such a gem of a place and is well supported by the community, well worth a visit !
We are glad to see the building expanding into the building next door with plenty of rooms for hire si becoming a real hub.Written 16 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Very well kept, not a bit of rubbish anywhere, nice hour outWritten 22 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 591jenBournemouth, UK53 contributionsA nice little park to make a change from walking round the shops. It has a lake and plenty of seats and perfect for a nice sunny day. - John PWiltshire, UK44 contributionsVery small market but great to support your local Pruduce and buying fresh bread. Milk meat eggs etc would be nice if it was bigger.Written 23 September 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Graeme M2,092 contributionsIn the 1970’s, I remembered reading a book called ‘The Warminster Mystery’, by Arthur Shuttlewood. However, it wasn’t till last week that I finally got to visit Warminster.
I searched Google for UFO-Warminster references and came up with the Warminster UFO mural and decided to have a look.
The mural was organised by the Warminster Information Centre, some years ago, to commemorate reports of the UFO sighting known as "The Warminster Thing”, in 1965.
The painting is on a wall in the Central Car Park, near the Warminster Community Hub. It’s easily missed and when I arrived, I drove straight past it and never even noticed.
If you are interested in alternative items to see, then this is certainly that ! Well worth a photo or two.
