Lovely beach, always very clean when we have been. It’s probably our nearest beach so we are there at lease once a month (usually more). There are multiple places to walk, swim, look for sea glass, a park, something for everyone really. There are also lots of food places.

This is a comprehensive museum dealing with the history of the wool industry in Australia including life on the farms and the heavy machinery used over the years (much of it imported from England). Well worth visiting.

I was walking around the city and met Helen who was working there.
She led me into the centre and kindly let me know where I should visit.
Worth to visit for Geelong trip!

Sadly it was winter time, but still worth a visit. Would love to visit in spring and summer. Free entry and wheelchair accessible.

Amazing historical place to visit. Self guided tour but lots of information around the building. Artifacts on display as well as freedom to explore whole site in your own time. Could have stayed all day! Helpful information from owner.

There was so much to do here and we could have stayed a lot longer if car parking wasn't running out!
It is all geared to children having a go at music, science, acting, painting a real car!
The staff were good at relating to the children.
There was great attention paid to keeping the place clean and tidy.

My wife has always loved carousels so was instantly attracted to this indoor refurbished nineteenth century example which adults can ride. I counted her ride as 14 circuits which represented good value for money. Allowing parents to stand alongside their children who were taking a ride was a sensible arrangement.

What a wonderful experience - feeding Emus and Cangaroos - an amazing arts gallery and the food also was delicious. A modern playground helped to enjoy the day

I almost gave this a 3 and it's far too small and deserves more art pieces, but I went for a 4 as it's still worth a visit. It was only 2 large rooms and 2 smaller rooms. I would recommend going in, but not much time is needed.
There were 2 temporary exhibitions upstairs, one showcasing indigenous artists which was definitely the highlight, and one by what I think was a local artist which was a bit confusing. The permanent exhibitions downstairs were mostly of what seemed to be 18th/19th century artifacts, nice enough but a bit basic.
It's free entry and they accept donations, but you could see everything inside in about 15 to 20 minutes. I feel like more space could have been made available for more artists.

Brilliant beer served in an old wooden mill surrounded by history of the old and the new and current brewing business. Lots of choice and if you are like me then go for a tasting paddle and try out some of their favourites. We shared a pizza which was delicious. Lots of people were eating and all the dishes were tempting, can’t wait to try more food and drink on my next visit. The brewery isn’t far from Geelong centre, we caught a bus but you could walk.

I visited the falls whilst on vacation with family who live locally. They hadn’t visited it for years so this reminded them what a lovely spot it is. Plz note however it’s NOT suitable for weak knees as there are many steps. A delightful few hours followed by lunch in nearby Geelong’s waterfront.

A great ride, although the section between (Drysdale to Queenscliff) should be fully bitumen sealed as it is from (Geelong to Drysdale) approximately half of the total distance.

Once this is completed through funding of State and Federal Govt stakeholders will be a great asset for all user groups.

There needs to be more water stations and toilets set up along the route with greater access to Cafe, accommodation etc to support local business.

It's more around 80 kms total distance return from Geelong West and accessibility is well marked and signed.

Take plenty of water to carry and perhaps a backpack for any refreshments along the trip.

Luckily we had ebike's for the return trip which when using standard mtb, hybrid's etc it's a fair slog and would take about 6-7 hours to complete the return trip.

For us about a little over 5 hours total on ebikes including supporting a Queenscliff Cafe for our lunch stop.

It's one of the better rides in Victoria along with some of the Gippsland rail trail network, a must do both ways to enjoy the full experience and if you need a little help on the hills grab an ebike for greater enjoyment.
