The architectural design of the gardens is mind-blowing. The way the steps seamlessly blend with the natural landscape is simply genius. Whether you're a nature lover, an architecture enthusiast, or just someone looking for a quiet spot to contemplate life, the Baha'i Gardens tick all the boxes. It's not just a garden; it's an experience that leaves you feeling refreshed and, dare I say, a bit enlightened.

Nice place for a view of Haifa. Some nice places to sit and enjoy the air around you. Convenient walk from nearby shops.

Heading down from the Bahai Temple toward down town pubs and the Mediteranean port of Haifa where you can view the cruiseships or the port unloading crates there are many restaurants worth visiting as well as an Outlet Shopping Centre where I have my favourite Jewellery store and my daughters check out the clothes and shoesthere.

If you are on a bus tour you'll get about 10 minutes at the photo stop. As all the other reviews say, this street deserves much more time. If you have time for a wander of an hour or two, take the time to do it. The views are so beautiful. The residential area and parks on the southwest side of the street are also very nice.

There are many interesting exhibitions there, providing useful and interesting facts. Some of them involving participating as in a game or exhibit. The museum is quite large, so arm yourself with a patience.

I walked up from downtown Haifa to the monastery, and actually the walk up was just as much a highlight as the monastery itself. Much of the walk along Stella Maris Road has beautiful views over Haifa. It is not a trivial walk (2.5 km distance, 270 m elevation gain) but enjoyable.

The chapel at the monastery was a worthwhile destination, as it is small but beautiful. The small cafe and food store was also open.

Actually I would have benefited from reading several of the Tripadvisor reviews before visiting, as those reviews mention points of interest here which are not mentioned in any tour guidebooks. There are things to see here which I missed. Next time . . .

Great beach! Gigantic amounts of sand, free parking, showers, toiletts, lifeguards, excellent water temperature(early october), big waves keep coming, and theres enough of those artificial shade makers for everyone to find a free place under.

Our cruise ship docked here over night so got to see Haifa on the second day. We walked from the port to town and then up the hill to the shrine and gardens then walked back via the shops and restaurants. The port is well organised for cruise ship immigration, passport and immigration cards checked several times before you get through.

This lush, sprawling park is a hidden gem of Haifa. It's the biggest national park in the country and yet seems to be overlooked by tourists, which is a shame. There are kilometers of hiking and biking trails, plus archaeological sites and hectares of different tree species. You can also go picnicking here, which I encourage people to do for the sheer joy of enjoying a meal in this gorgeous park. There are also different protected animal species that reside here. You can forget that the rest of the country extends into the desert because this place is so green.

There is no way to understand the Jewish people in the 20th century onward or the State of Israel without getting to know this period of time, when Jews were desperately trying to get to their ancestral home in the Land of Israel, before, during and right after WWII, and were prevented from doing so. The fact that the humble operation to help the Jews grew into the Israeli Navy only makes the story of its successes even more impressive. The courtyard offers a unique experience of getting on board of a missile ship and a submarine!
