The restaurants at the vineyards were not of the same quality as the wine. Still a very enjoyable experience.

A beautiful plaza with fountains, statues and flowers. Seems to be the Saturday morning gathering place for all downtown residents. Well-maintained and clean.

The vineyard was located close to Curicó, in a spectacular setting. Ignacia, our guide was friendly, extremely knowledgable about wine making and flexible to let us explore the place as we wished.

The highlights of this winery were: 1) the lookout built on top of the tanks where we could see the valley. 2) the cozy cellar within the old family house was the perfect setting for the wine tasting. 3) the owner of the winery came to welcome us. Not often winemakers approach tourists...

I recommend to visit this vineyard where you will understand the process of winemaking while enjoying an excellent wine in a cozy ambient.

Parque Cerro Condell is built on and around a small mountain, so it's not your typical park. And that's a good thing.

Here's an easy 3.7 km route that follows the road for cars around the park and then returns to the city along a nice sidewalk. The climb is 90 meters. Along the way, you'll encounter 2 viewpoints, 2 white sculptures, and a small waterfall. From the top, the view over Curico is quite good. The route is used by both walkers and mountain bikers.

At the waterfall, you can also choose a more direct route to the top, via a steep staircase. That's the one most people take.

Excellent hiking and biking trail in a charming city.

I was under the impression that this Emporio was situated on Merced, and will review the restaurant at that location.
We found this branch of Emporio after their other location sadly burnt down. As we had always enjoyed eating at the tables out in the garden there, we were delighted to find that this new( to us) location that is more downtown, has an even more extensive garden with lots of tables and ample shade from the sun for comfortable eating. As the name suggests, they seem to specialize in BBQ'd or grilled meats. Everything that we have tried so far has been perfectly cooked and very nicely presented. And unusually for Chile, not too highly salted!!! The wine selection is somewhat limited, I would like to see more from our local winery, San Pedro, on offer. We recognize some of the staff from the other restaurant, and received a great welcome when we " discovered" this new locale. The food and the service are both good and we hope that the restaurant is a great success.

We had a fantastic morning with Chilean Adventures this February. The guides are incredibly friendly, professional, and accommodating. All you need to bring is a bathing suit, sunscreen, and water. The rest of your gear is provided. The setting is spectacular and the service is second to none. Our hosts at Mapuyampay recommended us to Chilean Adventures and we are so appreciative for a memorable Valentine's Day!
