What travellers are saying
- Travelfun001Oakville, Canada3,493 contributionsThe theatre is beautifully refurbished and maintained and the english tour is really worth doing if you have an interest in architecture. We were able to take a seat in one of the boxes when we were here. Price is very reasonable, we booked our tickets on-line a couple of weeks before our visit but many were buying tickets the day of.Written 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KodoDrummerBuenos Aires, Argentina65,207 contributionsWe took our walk on a Tuesday afternoon, and the Recoleta area was quite busy, and with many restaurants attainting guest levels of 75% and higher. Most of the shops and eateries cater to mid to higher end shoppers and diners.Written 14 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - James HOregon, USA44 contributionsI wanted to see this cemetery while in Buenos Aires. An interesting visit and would recommend it. A lot of history there, and beautiful sights. It was crowded the day we were there but that would be expected given the attraction.Written 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Baskal BusraTürkiye34 contributionsIt is an amazing park in the city center. Great garden desings and beautiful fishes inside the little lake. - Travelfun001Oakville, Canada3,493 contributionsWe loved our visit to this museum. They have a great collection and it's varied. It was our first experience at a museum with a focus on Latin American art and they have so many beautiful items including the Frida Kahlo pieces. From what I've read they have changing exhibits and when we were here in February it was the Cecilia Vicuña exhibit. Very inexpensive admission. We were here about 90 minutes.Written 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- worldtraveler1716Victoria, Canada204 contributionsEven in 30c temperatures the huge rose garden was great. The roses were past their best, but still nice to look at. The surrounding park was quite enjoyable and it was fun to watch couples and families puttering about in paddle boats.Written 25 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Travelfun001Oakville, Canada3,493 contributionsIf like us you love art this is a MUST visit. They have a beautiful collection. We had already been out and about for several hours when we arrived and I feel we didn't give it all the time it deserved, we could have stayed for over 2 hours. I was quite surprised by the free admission.Written 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Travelfun001Oakville, Canada3,493 contributionsAfter many visits to Europe I don't visit a lot of churches anymore but we decided to go in. It's a beautiful and well maintained cathedral. It also houses the remains of Argentine Liberator General Jose de San Martin with an honour guard and we happened to be there for the changing of the guard. Free admission and it was busy when we were here.Written 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RazorfishLittle Rock, AR3,866 contributionsCalle Defensa is a continuous flea market from Plaza Dorrego to Plaza Mayo. It must be a mike of stalls that my wife and it seemed like my wife looked at half of them. It was a fun Sunday weaving our way through the crowds and looking at the crafts. It reminded me of El Rastro Flea Market in Madrid.Written 29 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KodoDrummerBuenos Aires, Argentina65,207 contributionsOn a hot sunny day, it was refreshing to walk mostly in the shaded areas of this very beautiful large park, home to historic monuments, lots of trees and flowered areas, special area of roses, large green grassy areas, nice organized walkways, and more. There are many nice benches to sit on, waterways and ponds, geese floating on the water. In the background, I could hear the noise of ever moving traffic.Written 19 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
