What travellers are saying
- Jane NElche, Spain52 contributionsAmazing hiking route along the Rio Borosa! We were a bit dubious about getting there safely from Cazorla, over the misty mountain pass, but we were so glad we made the effort, as the scenery, flora and fauna are stunning, even now in late November and the weather was very different on that side of the mountain.. We were the only people on the walk that day and even saw eagles circling overhead. It was an unforgettable experience. Do go!Written 2 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- EmmaG1959Leeds, UK61 contributionsFascinating insight into the construction of the Plaza and Church over the river. Spanish guide was excellent and spoke clearly so we got the gist. Paid the extra €1.50 for the mill tour. All good value.Written 24 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alvaro Colo LaguiaSalisbury, UK289 contributionsShort and low difficulty walk where it is fair to mention that there is a great variety in the scenery and the vegetation in the walk along this path. This was done with a 7-month- old baby in his carrier bag.Written 7 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Felixstowe2016Felixstowe, UK5,011 contributionsA reconstructed Moorish castle tower called La Yedra. Still higher up on the rocky escarpment lie the ruins of still yet another ruined fortress.
The town makes for some interesting walks and sights.Written 9 November 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is now in ruin.
Santa Maria Church has an underground secret. There is a “boveda” a stone vault running under the church and plaza through which the Cerezuelo river is channelled down to Guadalquivir. The guide spoke very good English and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.Written 24 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The hike starts with wayfinding signs that you cannot miss. Just follow the river upstream. The trail follows the river with small waterfalls, lush vegetation, wooden rails and bridges. We turned around about a mile up, but not without a quick swim to cool off. A few locals hiking up to take a dip or walk the dog. A bit of trash, but the little nature signs outweighed that.Written 3 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
