Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a great time at Indiana Beach Amusement Park with my grandsons and daughter. Rides were closed or opened later but most of the little guy things were online. Like everything these days - it is understaffed. Still had fun with the family.

It was a bit confusing to figure out if you seat yourself, if they seat you, order at the bar, or if a server comes to you. They have all of them.

The service was good after we figured it out. The drink selection was limited to mostly beer. The food was pretty good. We had appetizers and drinks. The prices are fair.

The location and atmosphere are what really make this place great. The indoor-outdoor areas are really nice. The building is an old highway department building and is brick and industrial. The outdoor area is large and comfy.

They have lots of parking. It is a really nice place to get an adult dinner when in town for Indiana Beach Amusement park.

We rented a small pontoon for 4 hours, and boy did it go fast! There were 6 of us, a 9-month-old, a 3-year-old, mom and dad, and Grandpa and Grandma, and every one of us had a great time. We stopped to fish a bit, didn't catch anything, but still enjoyed every minute. Tall Timbers is so good at what they do. They have college kids running the check-in and working with the boats. If you haven't rented from them before, they have you watch a short video, and then they go over all the details with you, once you're on the boat. I had to cancel over Labor Day weekend and spoke to the owner. I understood I would have to pay a fee for canceling on a holiday weekend, but he was so nice and transferred the cancellation fee to a weekday the following week. I plan on renting from them again next summer. And you should too! they have small and large pontoons, ski boats, fishing boats, and Skidoos! Something for everyone.

This community park is a beautiful nature preserve. It's walking paths are maintained perfectly. Great for exercise, walking your dog or just getting out with your children. It even has an amphitheater with a fire pit. Nature at its best.

My wife and I drove by unplanned and decided to stop in. This small mom & pop establishment is unique. Dan, the owner, was entertaining and passionate about his creation. The wine is in jars, not wine bottles. No preservatives. Tasting was fun and we walked away with four of our new favorites.

I decided to give camping a go at this campground to see if it might be my new relaxing spot. This was our first stop in Monticello, as we wanted to get checked in and set our tent up as soon as possible. We booked two nights at this campground, my girlfriend and I. We checked in a little bit down the road from the entrance. There’s a small building with a little parking lot you go inside to get things going. They gave us a hanger tag to put in our car to display that we were camping there and to also scan in and out upon entry and exit.

We parked our car at our site and walked over to the Camp Store. It was a little convenience store near the front building where we checked in at. It’s definitely good for any last minute needs. I purchased some Plastic Tent Stakes and a Flashlight. Id say the prices were really reasonable on those items. Unfortunately, it started raining right after we visited this store, so we had to wait quite awhile before returning to our site to pitch the tent.

The site was clean. It had electric and a table. The ground was acceptable for driving the stakes. Our tent held up and didn’t budge the duration of our visit. It wasn’t too wild on the grounds. I’d say people were respectful for the most part.

The restroom/shower room was my biggest concern. It was horribly dated and did not smell the greatest. The shower fixture was very weak on pressure. The water was pretty hard. It seems as if they don’t have a water softener hooked to the line. This room just wasn’t kept up properly. I think they need to take some profit and give it a full gut-out.

The employees were very friendly here. I’d also say they were even helpful. The man driving around the grounds checked on us to make sure our stay was going smooth, so that was really considerate. The woman working the Camp Store had great hospitality for us when we were waiting on the rain to die out. I’d say everyone had a positive attitude here, so that was a good thing to have.

Overall, the campground was clean on the main grounds. The biggest negative for me was the restroom/shower situation. That’s a big deal for me to be able to freshen up. I visited the Water Park at Indiana Beach and came back to shower since the water at the park was gross. I tried to freshen up, but it didn’t do much justice. I wish I could have gotten a sparkly clean rinse.

Nice little shop that carries chalk paint. Many items are painted and as I'm not a fan of painted, not as interesting to me. Mostly larger furniture items with some smaller accent pieces/collectibles.
