What travellers are saying
- Autumn MStamford, CT3,428 contributionsThe tubing was fun overall. The magic carpet was as helpful with my 5 year old. This mountain doesn't have anyone at the top helping to guide people snow tubing. This means that people aren't paying attention to the bottom and kids do not have help at the top with a push. Other mountains offer this help.Written 28 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- margaretf4Orange Park, FL189 contributionsIn town for one night to take in Stockbridge, we ended up at the Briarcliff Motel just down the road from this site. We woke up, and hit the trails for our first hike of the trip. We did the Hickey-Peeskawso Peak-Mohican loop, 2.6 miles total. 2 hours duration. Parts are very steep and bumpy throughout, I was glad I was wearing really good shoes.Written 7 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Daniel R1 contribution3 times here saw Samanth fish. So easy in & out it was rediculous! While other venues do resale tickets with over an hour getting in the last few mile & long lines getting in. My 3'rd time seeing her so ya I'm a 69 y.o. groupie male. Also saw Grahm Nash here excellent. Pat Methenny was good but not as good as the other 2. Need a guide I can help. End seats on lower balcony upstairs are great. Google berkshire food Co op & there's parking down there couple hundred yards from theater it's free. If you have a foam cushion you Bring good for here for us older folk. Plenty of good eats close by. Steakhouse 10 next door is a sponsor never tried. Menu up in price some & limited. Nothing like tanglewood but driving & walking in is a chore plus tickets are starting to go more to the secondary market so when a good show pops up at this alternative theater it's a treat. The Italian place a short distance west on the rotary is a reasonable place to go. There's also a little castle in town that could use rehab that was a fun spot to stop on a motorcycle ride back in the days. Joan Taylor Shaw my next treat here.Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- paul fOrmskirk4 contributionsWhat a surprise. Having watched Alices Restaurant many years ago we were very surprised to find The Guthrie Centre. We travelled from the UK and were staying in the area looking for places to visit and found it on Google maps. We had a very interesting conversation with a lovely lady called Chris (not sure of how that is spelled, sorry) who was very informative. An unforgettable experience.Written 1 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AlexaH7489South Florida4 contributionsWhat a wonderful activity for a morning.
I went blueberry picking with my 11-year old son and 80-year old mother.
Despite being warned that it was the end of the season, we picked a lot of delicious blueberries!
Staff was friendly and helpful, grounds were beautiful. View of the mountains all around. It's a slight climb up to the blueberry bushes.
There is a cute little store with gardening tools, local honey, and other gifts.
I look forward to going back and to going apple-picking, too.Written 20 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Upon entering, i seemingly go down a rabbit hole to a far away land of Craftsmen, Artists and Kings. To say the antiques are superb and tell many stories, seems benign compared to seeing this wonderland in person. The precision in the carvings, the houses on stilts, remind me of an interesting museum. I’m always in awe when I’m there in Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall. Check out the jewelry. There are so many cool items in the shop. Quite affordable. This week is the Tent Sale!. Thanks Asia Barong! 🙏🪷❤️Written 29 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Laura QNew York, New York, United States18 contributionsI thought the loop walk was really beautiful, a lovely and easy walk, but, as with many trails I walked in the area, I wish there was better signage. When I left the loop walk, it was not clear to me how to get back to the parking lot. Also the port-a-potties were gross and out of toilet paper.Written 5 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kimberly WNorwich, CT66 contributionsFriends and I were staying at an airbnb less than a mile away from the Bridge St. start of the Riverwalk so walked over and arrived about 20 minutes later at the down stream start. It was very quiet and well maintained but rather up the bank from the river. It traversed through people's back yards and wound around a few roads to get to the 'up stream' portion but was well marked. The latter half was closer to the water with great sidewalks and both were an easy walk but not possible with walkers, crutches or strollers as there are many sets of stairs. Very pretty and serence with lots of fauna to observe. The end of the walk dumped us right in the lovely down town area so we opted for a great breakfast and then headed back to our rental.Written 18 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kathy SAuburn, MA78 contributionsThe largest selection of organics fruits and vegetables I have seen. Lots of baked items as well. Nice plant selection.Written 23 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Chris G1 contributionWhat a unique gem, with something for everyone! Brought my family, who have very different tastes and interests. We all came away with loads to discuss! - Glenrotnerlaw@gmail.comAnnapolis, MD27 contributionsIf you are interested (and even if you are not) in glass ware, fine china, porcelain, and fine silver, comer to Elaine Abrams in S. Barrington, Mass.
Ms. Abrams has some 100,000 items in her store, and can provide an ex-
perts help in getting items you need. It is like visiting a museum, except you can get close up to view what you like and may need.Written 27 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I've been to several openings and it's always a fun time.Written 17 June 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
