- Jane22 contributionsLovely walk around the walls. Visiting in early March when no museums are open (sadly) this is the ideal way to soak up the history, and views, and discover some amazing architecture. Mostly flat with plenty of benches, plus several "exits" means less able can do short sectionsWritten 5 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jane22 contributionsSpectacular sight in the town centre. Visited out of season so most things closed, so we only experienced the outside. Bonus of hearing bells tolling from it on one day.Written 5 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Chris TLincoln, UK377 contributionsFrom the ramparts you have great views inside and out. Not a place for someone who doesn't like heights as some of the drops are steep (and generally unguarded), but there is an upper and lower path so everyone is catered for. Easy access from various points with free car parks at hand.Written 26 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
