This museum is free and has permanent and changing exhibits. There is a cool Yellowstone coach here and a mammoth bone. It has a gift shop and a hands on room for kids.

We were unable to visit this Capitol building for years because of the recent major renovation. I am glad we saw it after the renovation. It looks great inside and out.
We were impressed with the building and the art inside it.
The staff were very helpful and friendly

Great gift shop. Lots of options and found a perfect Christmas ornament. Don’t have time to go through the museum on this trip.

After our visit, I feel a lot more knowledgeable about the west. They have a nice mix of displays, movies, and interactive.

They have done an excellent job of showing the different eras the mansion was occupied. It was a little hot the day we went, no air conditioning.

What a great way to explore the city… by finding all the boots!
Only saw a few on this trip and wish we would’ve had time for more exploring.
They are all unique and the ones we saw were beautiful

On Sept. 6 we again stopped here with 15 people on the way back from Yellowstone, figuring the welcome center would be open on a Tuesday. It was and everyone was really glad we stopped as the facility is most interesting, informative and well done, a very worthwhile stop. Most important, the little sign on the entrance doors to the main area now says open every day, unlike last time when we were so disappointed that the display rooms weren't open weekends. I change my rating from 1 to 5.

A must see if you’re in Cheyenne. The tropical plants are amazing. I plan on going back when it warms up a little more.

This engine is one of only 8 surviving in the world. It was retired in 1958 and is in Holiday Park . It is free and very cool to see.

This is an okay drive, but is especially good as a route to take when you have time to stop and get out of your car. There are trail networks that will provide some real fresh air.

"I think this has to be one of the most interesting tours that we have ever done.. We had some time to kill before a rodeo in Cheyenne and thought this was be ok. We are so glad we went. The tour was so fascinating and educational. Our guide was very good at giving us all the details and stories about people that had been involved with this place. Well worth the drive and money!!!!

Very nice library in a great location. Three floors with plenty for everyone. They are even open on Sunday afternoons.
