Amazing to see how business in the street has recovered during the past three months. There are still a few hoardings visible, but we expect that the street will be almost back to pre-Covid levels on our next visit. If only something could be done to improve the narrow footpaths and the frequent obstacles that become barriers, it would certainly be a boon for pedestrian traffic.

Love Garlic Lane, it’s an eclectic mix of stalls, shops, tattoo shops, bars, cafes, restaurants etc.
perfect spot to wander along and look at the array of items for sale, if you don’t want to haggle there are quite a few fix price shops on garlic lane as well.

Lovely spot to sit on the beach and relax,
Sitting having an ice cold drink while watching the sunset is a must do while in Bali.
The new beach path and toilet blocks are a welcome addition.
One of the things to absorb at the beach is all the hawkers trying to sell their goods, you can relax and the shopping will come to you.

My experience at the Glow spa In Bali Mandira Resort was heavenly. I was pampered by the lovely Sri, who is an expert in massage. It is highly recommended And very reasonably priced.

Great 2.5 hours massage, very relaxing had the 30 minute facial,90 minute hot stone massage & body scrub. Felt very clean afterwards. The location in Ledian was closeby my hotel only an 8 min walk. Place was clean, tranquil because all rooms were at basement level, never guessed it was that big. Mba Novi & mba Rita did an excellent job explained everything clearly the flow, directed us to the shower rooms after finishing the treatment, definitely will recommend this place to friends & family.

The reviews are true that it's a really nice temple. There was just my partner & I there surrounded my quietness, while the crazy street traffic is blazing on one side.

Please remember to go round the right hand side of the temple as there is another treat

I had a consultation for a minor cosmetic procedure with Dr. Yusti, who I found knowledgable and reassuring. The procedure went as planned, with recovery time in line with what had been expected. There was thoughtful preparation and follow-up from the clinic, with instructions for how to prepare for the day of, and the days following, the procedure. I would not hesitate to go to Cocoon Medical Spa again for similar procedures.

Use guide if you are interested in History of this temple. I suppose it started in 13th century but was incomplete (not tired & didn't listen properly :P).

It is near Legian Beach. Surroundings are full of birds & monkeys (beware). There was not much apart from historic importance & a bit of art.

Can visit for the peace of mind.

Boat service offered by Gilis Boat is very economical and easy to book. We used the same for a trip to nearby Gili Air and Gili Meno islands during our stay at Gili Trawangan. While we were expecting a surged price, we felt we got a steal deal with Gilis boat. The same can also be booked from the various agents at the island but I would recommend booking online to save the hassle. Also, since you need to pay when you are about to board, it also builds in that trust.
Cheers to Gili Boat for their service !!

The Desa Adat Temple is a beautiful hundu temple. Prayers are organized regularly. At the back of the temple is a cave full of bats. Very impressive if you have a telephoto lens. This temple is also not that busy with tourists.

I’ve visited this Church over the last three Sundays.
The worship time was awesome, bringing praise to Almighty God. The preaching was encouraging and uplifting! Many people were welcoming!
The service was in a mixture of Indonesian and English ... depending, in part, on who was preaching. Don’t be concerned if you can’t speak Indonesian: a very efficient real-time translation of the message is available via an app. Just ask one of the volunteers and they organise for it to work on your phone. If praise songs are sung in Indonesian, there are also English subtitles. Too easy and soooooo accommodating: Thank you!!!!
