We are looking to book a stay at Fond Doux Planation which looks and sounds fabulous. Can I ask if it is possible to walk into Soufriere of an evening or are you totally reliant on car or taxis ? We don't mind a walk and would prefer the freedom.
Also it possible to walk to the beach ?
I have just booked up for 9 days in October to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We are bringing our two girls along (4 & 8) to help us celebrate and enjoy this adventure with us to experience the rainforest and all that St Lucia has to offer. My main concern with the children is their safety and whether they will be able to take part in the activities. Are there any issues/restrictions that may arise that I should be aware of bearing in mind their age? Any advice would be very much welcome as looking over reviews I have not seen many which mention children in their age range.
Many thanks :-)
Can anyone comment on the meal plans? Was the all-inclusive option worth it or would it be better to go for bed and breakfast?
Do any rooms, especially the Honeymoon room or one room cottage with pool, have views of the Pitons?
My husband and I just booked a few nights at your resort. I will be coming from Sandals Halcyon (for work), how much should I expect to pay for a taxi? How much is a taxi to and from the airport? I am nervous to rent a car in St Lucia because if the steep winding roads. Thanks so much for your help.
