If you can't handle alcohol and don't go to eat until you're all incapable then don't blame the establishment/staff. I have been involved in the hospitality industry for 30+ years and the circumstances described in your inane prima donna comments are typical of those unable to accept they are 'out of order'. The restaurant's response is correct and polite. Go back to eating at your local curry house!
