Could you tell me about the transportation that you used to get to resort? We are flying into Edinburgh.
Is the train our best option?
I was told that the Lodges are not recommended for "disabled people or those with mobility issues". However, this person wasn't able to be specific about WHY. I will be traveling with my 82-year-old mother who can walk and do stairs but gets tired. We travel with a wheelchair so that we can "walk around" and see the sights but, if she has to get out for example to go up some stairs or get onto a sidewalk without a ramp, that's no problem. I did read that there's a 10-15 minute walk down a hill to the town but I've pushed her up/down hills on previous trips so thing that I might be OK. CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT SPECIFIC CONCERNS I SHOULD HAVE ABOUT BRING HER TO THE LODGES? Also, can you let me know how long this "downhill walk to town" is (e.g., 2 city blocks? 1/2 mile?) Thanks so much!!
We are planning to go next summer to HGVC Craigendarroch. What is the best nearby airport to fly into, Aberdeen, Dundee or elsewhere? Trying as well to redeem miles for an award flight coming from the US. Even more challenging so to avoid the high surcharge fees when flying through London Airports! Any piece of advice would be helpful. Thank you
Are there blow-dryers provided in the rooms? We're coming from the U.S. so trying to determine what electrical converters or appliances we'll need to bring along. Any other things an American should be prepared for or anticipate that we may not be accustomed to or run into in the States?
I have just read your review on this hilton , we are travelling within the next few weeks and was sold this on the sit and listen to the talk about I assume time share?
Did you go to the talk and was it informative and hard sell? Also did you have. Kitchen dining area in your lodge? As I would like to take some goodies for us to eat and not be nesceary to eat in the restaurant every night. I would be grateful on some advice.
Thank you so much
