We are coming from Buenos Aires by bus and leaving the 26th of December. We can't buy our tickets yet and so I am unsure as to when we would be arriving. I understand the trip is around 10 hours from Buenos Aires to Mendoza. Is your B&B near the city or is there taxi service to and from bus station? I am guessing we would arrive on the 27th of December. I don't have bus schedule so it is hard to plan arrival. There are 3 adults, my husband and I and our adult daughter. Do you have availability if we should arrive the 27th, checking out the 29th? Also, any info regarding bus schedules from Buenos Aires to Mendoza and onward to Santiago, Chile would be appreciated. Thank you. Karol
Hi Karol. Happily he still have availability for those days. We are at 17 km from the bus station. By taxi is around 20 minutes. I can send a driver with a sing to the airport but not alowed to do it to the bus station. When you arrive to the bus station go to the North entrance and there is always a line of taxis. Take one and tell to the driver our adress (I can't write it here) and also says: "entre acceso sur y terrada, justo en frente del nuevo barrio Natania".
If not contact me and I will help you with all your doubts,
I would love to answer your question however I think it best if it were addressed to Nacho. My wife and I had rented a car to travel in the region and therefore cannot advise you about bus schedules and/or taxi availability. Please note that Lujan de Cuyo B&B is not directly in Mendoza so if you do decide to stay there it will be much, much easier if you were to have a car at your disposal. I hope this is of some help.
I agree with above- call Nacho and ask him to help arrange. Flights in advance are cheap, much more efficient than the bus.
Hi Karol, the bus trip from Bs.As. to Mendoza takes 14 hours, best to book a first class sleeper for some comfort. You need to contact Nacho directly via email to organize a pick up from the bus station in Mendoza. Lujan de Cuyo is 20-25 mins outside of Mendoza. He can have a driver there with your name on a sign, this is better than using a city taxi as they are never sure exactly where to get off the highway for the B+B. Bus schedules you can look at online and also ask Nacho he speaks English. Enjoy your trip
