Hi I would just like to clarify the dress code in relation to footwear as some reviews have been contradictory. Are flip flops not allowed for men and women at lunch and dinner? If this is the case then does one have to get rid of their beach flip flops etc for lunch or is there somewhere less formal to eat lunch? I have smart evening dress shoes which happen to be in flip flop style. Are these not allowed?
Greetings from a sunny Barbados!
During the day we only request that you cover up your swim wear and footwear is very casual and obviously includes flip flops as we hope that you will be coming from the beach or from one of the pools!! In the evening we have two restaurants available for dinner, our main restaurant, Sunset, and our Caribbean Specialty restaurant, Enid's.
Sunset has a more relaxed dress code with tailored shorts and dress t shirts permitted as it is an open air venue. Beach wear which include flip flops is not part of the dress code.
Enid's is an air conditioned more formal restaurant where we requires long pants and a collared shirt to reflect the evening dining ambiance. Flip flops are not part of the dress code at Enid's.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to The Club, Barbados in the very near future.
