I, too, have mobility problems....a torn tendon in my leg making it difficult to walk long distances without pain. I took a room right on the beach with a plunge pool (did not use). It was very close to the large buffet dining area. In fact, it was pretty close to everything. Found it easy to get around walking only a few steps to the beach, and there was a small pool close to my room. It was worth paying the extra for the upgrade. Loved the Jewel.

Getting around will not be a problem at this resort everything is very close. I never stayed in the rooms with the plunge pools put there was lots of them located on the ground floor.

If I remember correctly, most plunge pools are on the main floor level. The resort is well laid out so that there is no great distance between rooms and the buffet or other restaurants. Ask for a ground floor room in the 3000 block which is closest to the main Coral buffet/restaurant/entertainment stage (noise stops at 11). It is also closest to the smallest pool (less crowded) and hot tub. Watch for Miguel who will act as 'rum runner' to bring your drinks right to you. I agree with Nicole...you should have absolutely no problems getting around this awesome resort. Enjoy!

Bradford, there is no need to worry about accessibility to the various areas of the hotel. There are several rooms on the bottom floor that has a plung pool as well as easy access to other pools, beach and all restaurants.

You will have absolutely no problems getting around the beautiful resort.

Hope this helps.
