Has anyone traveled in the month of September? How was the weather? Would you recommend that time of year?
Dear Bella Chic, Trip Advisor prompted me to reply to your question. I know that you would probably prefer to hear from other travelers, but here you go : From a resort perspective, Jade Mountain enjoys high occupancy year round. We do have specific months that attract bad weather. Even though September is part of the so called wet season, does not mean that you have to expect a lot of rain. There could be the occasional rain shower but this would mostly be simply refreshing. The temperatures on Saint Lucia don't alter that much month to month, so it is pleasant year round and with Jade Mountain sitting on a mountaintop, there usually are good breezes. We still have some availability and you can take advantage of a 4th and 7th night free promotion, cal us at Tel 1-800-223-1108 if you like further information. We would love to welcome you!
We stayed at Jade Mountain Resort from Sep. 4-7 in 2013. I also was worried about both heat (end of summer) and rain at that time of the year. But, it was great. The heat was no problem, especially with the pool or ocean to dive into whenever you wanted. And, the rain really did not interfere either. It rained every day several times, but usually for only 5 to 10 minutes. Then, it was sunny again. It was no problem at all. We only had one true downpour. That lasted about 30 minutes. But, then it was sunny. I would absolutely go again in September.
