We're planning on coming on Friday, July 27 for the 5:30 discounted time. Looks like during the Friday Night Live time, the place got pretty packed. What's the atmosphere like during those times?
I'm sorry I can't accurately answer that question, . I was only there once at the beginning of the event, but it didn't look that crowded to me. I t sounded like fun though with the music playing. Make sure you visit the indigenous room though and allow time to see it all. I'm planning a return visit just to see it all.
If you want to visit just few attractions then you should be good. Don’t expect to cover the whole of ROM.
Hi Scott. I am not able to provide that info. because I myself was visiting from out of province in BC. I would suggest you call the museum and ask how much the volume increases at that discounted time so you can better plan your visit. I am sure they will be able to give you some idea. Enjoy!
I was not there during that time, however you will want to set aside at least 4-5 hours to take in the museum. It was a average amount of people during the time I was there. If it was any busier I would plan for more time to see it all. Hope that helps. Have fun !!
Friday nights at the ROM are very popular, busy and lively with the music -- Although I am pretty sure that the event doesn't go all through the summer so the date you are thinking about should be okay the event wouldn't be on. I'd visit the ROM website to be sure.
I don't go to these events - only attend seminars/exhibits/lectures during the day.
