Good afternoon I will be staying with you September 26, and OCT. 4, name is Kenny Myers. I was booked by Trafalgar Tours. My wife and I will free that day in London, we are 67 years old like gardens, history and food! Could you recommend so things for us to do and how we get to and from. Thanks Kenny
Dear Kenny, Many thanks for your email. Our 24hr information desk team will be at hand to direct you to the places of interest when you arrive. We look forward to welcoming you on the 26th of September. Kind regards, Michael
We absolutely enjoyed Kew Gardens, which is a must see for gardeners. You should definately have as much good pub food as possible. Try getting on the hop on hop off bus and stopping off as many areas as you have time.
Have fun...we did, we are 70 and 63 yrs.
Ignore my last posting I was thinking of the Ibis near Imax - the other side of London. District line train to Earls court I think is the nearest tube or maybe it was West Brompton. Best trips are the V&A, Natural history or Science Museum in South kensington. Kensington Palace, Albert Memorial, Hyde Park etc
use the Docklands Light Railway (part of London Underground) to get there. Also can use to visit Tower of London. London Museum,is near the Barbican, St Paul's cathedral and the cable car over the docks.
I don't know the area well, its changed so much since I was young.
