The tube is almost next door to the hotel. While in London we didn't use the hop-on-off bus, we just walked with a guidebook!

I was upgraded to a club room when I last stayed back in February and the room had been renovated. Not sure if the standard rooms have been renovated but you should ask at check in. I have stayed in many hotels in London over the past 30 years and the area around the Millennium Gloucester is one of my favourites. Gloucester road tube just across from the hotel has quick links to the west end and Heathrow via the Piccadilly line and circle and district lines converge to give you access to all of central London. You are also close to Harrods and the Natural history and Science museums are within walking distance. The area is safe both at day and night to enjoy the many bars and restaurants. I would certainly recommend both the hotel and location. Have fun!

I recommend you speak to the hotel and ask for a renovated room.

We stayed as a couple in a club room and was very happy with the room and the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location right next to Gloucester rood tube station and getting around London is very easy from there. Also there are a good selection of restaurants and bars around the hotel.

We would not hesitate on using this hotel again.

I would email the hotel. When we was there, at first they put us into a normal room but it looked old and tired and smelled like someone had been smoking in there. So we went to complain, They upgraded us to a new room which was very nice. Its a nice hotel in a good area. But i do not think its worth the money unless you get a good deal. We stayed in The ibis blackfriars 2 weeks ago (Just south of the river ) Its a lovely modern hotel close to everything and good places to eat. The hotels in London are way over priced for what you get.
