The Memorial park is totally free including parking. Refreshments are available from two small cafes at average prices. There is a small are for young children with play equipment too.
As others have stated, there is no entry fee to the park. I don't know who is right about a parking charge as I have a disabled badge.nthe bus into town charges a fare unless you are a pensioner with a bus pass the it is free.

There isn't one but if your using the car park to visit the town centre there is a charge to use the park and ride but the park itself is free and the two cafe / snack bars don't cost the earth the new one does nice toasted things and jacket potatoes the older one in the centre of the park offers slightly more hot food and snack choices
