We upgraded to seaview room when we checked in - it was a extra 15 euros per night. We were very happy with it, large balcony but not very private.

We only had breakfast - there was a good choice, so can't comment about the half board, There are some good restaurants within a short walk.

Have a good trip

When we stayed it looked like most rooms overlook the sea/marina but we pre booked a sea view.

I agree with Scorryb, we enjoyed eating in Palma which has so much to offer including a nearby restaurant on the beach which was delightful.

We booked room only and took advantage of the breakfast offer the hotel made on arrival. We've stayed at Tryp hotels in other cities in Spain and they always offer discounted breakfast on check in which is cheaper than booking breakfasts online.

Hi. We just had the room and breakfast- which was good. Only had one other meal in the hotel. It was OK, but if half-board meant you'd have dinners in the hotel restaurant you might miss out on trying the wide variety of restaurants in the city. We asked for a sea view and were happy with it, though the building is recessed where we were.

Bon voyage

We only had breakfast included in our booking, so I don't know about the half board. But there are plenty of great restaurants in Palma so I would rather eat there :-) In the premium room we had a panoramic view of the harbour. We were a group of friends travelling together, and the others had not booked a room with sea view. But they all got the offer to upgrade to sea view for EUR 15, which they all did. They were very happy about it, got a nice sea view, but was not as good as ours with the premium room.

We did not book a meal plan with our room; there are many good restaurants within walking distance from the hotel - I used the top of the list on trip advisor for my restaurant choices, in the area, and found the restaurants to be excellent. We did have lunch at the hotel pool and enjoyed the food and the good service.

You must request a corner superior room / superior suite with a full view of the cathedral / marina and pay a premium rate, for the room, to guarantee you a great view with a terrace. Ask for a high floor; room # ending in 7. We were in room # 607 and it had an unobstructed wonderful view. Example room #’s would be # 607, # 707, # 807, etc. I believe there are 14 floors; if you’re not afraid of heights!!! Enjoy!!!

Hi, I cannot comment on half board because I always stay either ‘room only' of ‘bed & breakfast' when staying in Palma. This is because there are so many fantastic places to eat in Palma within walking distance of Paseo Maritimo.

With regard to the rooms with a view you need to book a Tryp Sea View Room to be guaranteed a great view of the marina with the Cathedral in the distance.( see photos in my review).

Hope this helps.
