e We will be arriving by cruise ship and departing Barcelona via train to Paris. How convenient is your hotel to both the cruise port and train station?
Aparthotel Silver is a good option as it is convenient to reach both the cruise harbour and the train station by metro using line 3 (green line), which is only 2 minutes away from our doorstep. From the harbour you need to take a shuttle bus to the Columbus monument and then the metro in Drassanes and it is only 5 stops to Fontana, where we are. For your journey to Paris you will need to go to Sants station again by metro L3. It is very easy!
Sorry about the delay, I only just saw your question but it looks like you have had your question answered anyway !
It was very easy to get to the main railway station by metro as it is on the same line, I don't know about the port I assume you would just change lines. We only had cabin bags with us but if you have a lot of luggage to may be wise to take a taxi. I highly recommend the hotel, we had a room overlooking an internal courtyard.
The hotel is about 3-5 min walk to the Fontana metro. However we took a taxi from the hotel the day we had to take a high speed train to Seville. It was only about 10 min and was easier than dragging our luggage through the metro. The harbor & cruise port terminals are a 10 min ride on the metro - nearest would be Drassanes - plus a shuttle bus I believe.
I don't know where the cruise ship terminal is, but you will no doubt have to take a taxi from there regardless of where you will be staying. So, taking a taxi to the Aparthotel Silver shouldn't be a problem. As for your departure, the hotel is a two minute walk to the Fontana metro station which will take you directly (i.e. no transfers) to the Plaza Catalunya (the center of most things) from where the Aerobus leaves straight to the airport. The hotel staff are very helpful and will guide you accordingly. The metro system is very user-friendly.
I hope that helps.
