Hi , the station is 5 km ( more or less ) from the hotel.
There are some taxi outside the station or the hotel can arrange the transfer without problems
You must check the timetable of the trains ...because that is not a big station
About 45 minutes walk, 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bus to Hotel
3 Euros for bus ticket each which you can buy on the bus
Best to take a taxi €20 from the hotel to Viareggio station 5km trains go to Lucca, Forte dei Marmi, Florence. Booking clerk spoke good English remember to validate your ticket in the booking hall (small green machines) before boarding your train.
Note: taxi rank outside Viareggio station.
We always travel by car to Lido di Camaiore.but I do not think so.
I know they have a train station at Forte di Marmi.
I'm sorry, I don't know. We were in Lido do Camaiore by car.
The train station is quite far to walk and is a bit risky to leave your bike there, we did and there were no problems but there were some really scuzzy people hanging around. A better idea is to bike to Viarreggio sea front to the square where you take a left turn to the station. Lock the bikes there and walk the 10 mins or so to the station. Taxis are v expensive and allow plenty of time to buy tickets as the bureaucracy at the ticket counter is very slow.
You can borrow and bike and lock and it would take ten mins to cycle to it!
It is quite a walk from the main station. You can do if you are fit enough. We walked to it to catch a morning train and on our way back got a taxi. Taxi costs 20 euros. We were told about a smaller station nearer to the hotel - but still a walk and were told that is had limited timetable and also no taxi rank. Whereas the main station does

My son flew to Pisa airport, got the train to Viareggio then a taxi to the hotel and that all went without a hitch. The train cost about €4!the taxi €17 but he says it was all easy
