Thank you for the lovely description of this walk. We will now definitely put it in our itinerary next month
Did you have to buy tickets for this walk at the Cliffs of Moher visitor centre? Or can you just reach the starting point at Doolin and start walking? You have referred to a website in your write up. Could you please share the link?
Sorry for delayed reply. We got the bus from Doolin to the Doolin Visitor Centre where we purchased the tickets - €6 each as I recall. We didn't take the guided tour as we weren't aware of it but heard its really great!.
No tickets but you need to contact pat Sweeney to book a guided walk. Well worth it.
This site will not let me attach a link, I tried :-). The website however is Doolin cliff walk. Just google Pat Sweeney cliff walk and you will find it.
You do not have to purchase tickets in advance, we simply showed up and the meet up location across from the pub and Pat met us there.
You will have a wonderful time, it's just beautiful!
All best, Heather
hi Freddy, I am very happy I was able to interest you enough to include this amazing walk in your itinerary. Actually You have to buy tickets but it is worthwhile: 6E for adults but free tickets for children under16. Enjoy!!!
