We are on a cruise stopping at Moreton island and wanted to do the shore tour to feed the dolphins are these done separately from other visitors or can we expect there to be lots of people all at the same time I’m bringing an 8 year old and if she has no chance of seeing them because of big crowds will be disappointed Thank you
The dolphin feeding is very well organised. Only paid feeders will have access to the beach during feeding with all spectators usually seated on the adjacent jetty. This is a must do activity.
Remember to wear your bathers as you will be waist deep in water.
Have a great time, I’m sure you’ll both love it.
Dolphin feeding happens around 7 pm , well organised although there are heaps of people , but you are divided up into small Groups of 2 / 3 people , there are about 7 Dolphins that come in , & they even line up across a small area they are so Intelligent , lovely experience , your young one would love it
The Dolphin feed is done in the early evening , there is usually quite a crowd , but it is pretty well managed , wereby you will have a few seconds in the water alone .
