Some people had Harry Potter gear on such as tee-shirts, sweatshirts or scarves but most people were in plain, every day clothing. I personally wore a HP sweatshirt to the tour.

Yes, some children were dressed in robes when we were there. Also, they provide robes for photos/videos on a broom (which you have to buy).

Oh yes, loads of visitors take the opportunity to dress up in costume. You ca ride a broomstick or be taught how to cast spells. Yo can take the Hogwarts Express and be filmed in a carriage where you can act out a scene with the frogs on windows and the Deatheaters..

Hey I did not really see many people wear and actually you do not need to buy that..they have robes there in the photo section where you can wear it and get pictures clicked or get your own harry potter video made.

Yeah, I saw so many people with so many different costumes on - from house robes to dressing up as actual characters but its really up to you!

You can get your photo on a broom with any house robes which is a nice keep sake but apart from that, its really your choice. Personally, you need to ask yourself whether its worth the money as you will get some amazing photos without having to pay a fortune for robes that you might not wear again.

I didn't have my own robes and such but I got some amazing photos just wearing my usual clothing!

I've seen a few. Mostly kids though. But almost everyone is a Potterhead there anyway, so go crazy!
