The Peninsula Bangkok Questions & Answers

I am seeing comments that the Deluxe suite and Grand Deluxe suites have queen size, not king size beds. Can you confirm this? What rooms and suites, if any, have standard king size beds?

Thanks for all of your responses. I emailed the Peninsula and here is their reply-

Thank you for your kind interest in The Peninsula Bangkok.

  With reference to bedding concern, please kindly find information as follows and all bed in any rooms are same size,

  Size of bed

King

W = 72'' or 182 cms

L = 78'' or 198 cms

H = 9'' or 22 cms

My note- These are not standard American Mattress sizes as a King is 76X80 and a California King is 72x84. So the King size at the Peninsula is the width of a California King, but 2 inches shorter than a King.

I believe the Grand Suites have King Size beds, but I agree that a quick note to the hotel can confirm your request. The Peninsula Bangkok is a world class hotel that will not disappoint!

Greetings. We stayed at the Peninsula Bangkok in November in a Grand Deluxe Suite with a king size bed. I believe that this is standard for these rooms. But I am sure that if you send a quick note to the hotel they will be glad to let you know if this is the case for all of the Suites. Also, the only different between the Deluxe and Grand Deluxe Suites appears to be the floors that each are on with the Grand Deluxe on the higher floors. If possible, unless you do not enjoy heights, try to get a suite on a higher floor as the view of the river and the city in the daytime and evening is spectacular! Enjoy Bangkok!

Hello. I wish I could answer that question for you. I didn't actually stay there, We went for the buffet. I'm sure if you were to contact the hotel directly they would be able to answer you. Best of luck.
