You are better to exchange your currency on arrival into Vanuatu than from an overseas port.

Just a few Vanuatu dollars in our pockets but you don't really need them at Tamanu on the Beach. It's cheaper to cash in your money for Vanuatu dollars in town. Take a bit of time and shop around at the money changers. Some give better deals than others.

goodies in town best for exchange. tamanu take cards. Don't need to go anywhere else. resort got it all. enjoy

No we changed monies in port villa town. Note the currency exchange closes at 12pm on Saturdays.

It is better to change it once you arrive in Vanuatu. The money exchange in the main street I found the best.

Tamanu ok with credit cards. Bill everything back to your room.

Generally in Vanuatu you need cash for local things. But tours and restaurants usually take credit card. We withdraw cash at the airport when we arrive
