Sorry we had a rental car. But in Morocco you have always 2 types of taxis. official ones with a "meter" that works or not, or unofficial ones (locals using own car as taxi, its more crowded but cheaper - but trip is same. Make sure always to ask/negotiate the price BEFORE you get in the taxi. Unofficial cabs are not located where the official cabs are. You have to ask where their stop is.

We were with a wedding party so the transportation was prearranged for us. The drive was a little over an hour. The hike up the cascades can be difficult at times but there are beautiful pools and places to stop where beverages and food (tangines) are available. Have fun you will enjoy it.

Can’t advise on prices as we hiked up there with our guide. Hard work but definitely worth it!

From the grand taxi stand you can share cabs out there. Only grand taxi go there. We paid about 6€ per seat. We paid 30€ on the way back for a whole cab as I had a medical emergency dislocated shoulder ha!
