Is this really true...have never been in a hotel where toiletries charged for
also did you have any toilet paper.... am worried as we have already booked
it seems like really bad hotel with smoke smells. and bad bed linen etc.
Its true, they charge for toiletries like tooth brush, comb, mini scissors etc. But charge is quite nominal. I presume this is their way of keeping overheads low and avoid wastage.
Tracy44 is spot on about the freebies supplied e.g. toilet rolls etc
I did not come across any bad smells during a week's stay. Standards of towels, linen were OK , nothing great but not a disaster either.
We had toilet roll shower gel shampoo etc and soap shower cap . First room we had was very dated but ask for modern room we stayed in that on 2nd stay was lovely . As for clean it was very clean and they bought paper and fruit and biscuits everyday to room . And food was lovely to .
Stayed on 18th and 19th December, toilet paper, towels and soap all there. Room was cleaned and made up daily. Simple but clean hotel and buffet food also simple but tasty. Staff also very helpful but don't expect any creature comforts!
Toilet papers are there. Towels are so so. Poor breakfast.
But the property is in the heart of town.
Toilet paper was there. Bed linen was allright as also the towels
