Could someone tell me were I should ask to stay for a quiet stay but not so far away from pools also I hear it's close to DW but what about Universal? I have a daughter with noise issues and my husband Disabled Veteran
Our Westgate Town Center Resort is about one mile from Walt Disney World and about 15 miles from Universal Studios. We can certainly place a request in your reservation asking the Front Desk to place you in a more private building. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
we own at the vacation villas since the 80's a little outdated now but have all the comforts of home and quite location
I am agreement with AXXIEFOX. Westgate Town Center has many ground floor apartments. Buildings 5200, 5300, 5400, 5500, 5600, etc. are all on the back street and are pretty quiet. But, Westgate Lakes (that I am NOT that familar) is a Westgate Property that is in between WDW and Universal. I hear that the Westgate Lakes has similar buildings to the Westgate Town Center. Again ask for a ground floor unit.
We stayed in bldg.5300 and the pool was directly behind us. We had a great view of it from our balcony. We had no noise issues but it is a busy and large resort. There are a lot of people coming and going especially near the main building. I believe a shuttle is provided to Disney World but we preferred to drive to each park. Disney World parks are 2-3 miles to the main gates & Universal is probably about 7 miles away.
As for DW or Universal, you will need to drive, DW and Universal are complete apart one end of the city and the other at the other. Hoping you have a disabled parking plate, would help, both have good parking facilities and will honor our vets. Thank you for serving to keep us safe. My husband also served. I say we can never do enough for those special people who saw fit to have fought for our safety. Again thank you and have a great family vacation.
