Hampton Inn Orlando/Lake Buena Vista Questions & Answers

Atlanta, Georgia

Hi,

How late can you check in? We're planning to drive down from Atl and won't get there until about 1am? Do we just pay for the day we arrive and how late can we check out?

Good morning again from the Hampton Inn!

I just wanted to clarify a few things for you.

For example, if you were driving down to Orlando October 3rd and you got to the hotek on October 4th at 1am, you would still be charged for the night of the 3rd. You can check in at 1 am, as we do have a front desk agent available 24/7.

Having said that, it is best that you let our staff know if you are planning on arriving late so we are able to make sure to hold your room for you with no issues.

If you do wish to have a late check out, we do have a late check out fee if you wish to stay after 2pm. This rate varies based on our daily rate.

I hope that this helps you and please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with!

Good afternoon!

I am the Sales Coordinator at the Hampton Inn.

Check in begins at 3pm and we do have someone here 24/7 so checking in at 1 am will be just fine.

If you are able to call the hotel to give them a heads up that would be fantastic! That way we are able to put a note in your profile and make sure to hold the room for you.

You can probably check in any time you like as they have a desk clerk 24/7, but if you are going to be as late as you indicate you should call ahead and make a reservation with a late check in using a credit card, that way they will hold the room for you until you arrive. As to check out time it is usually 11 am, however, you can almost always arrange in advance for a late check out for which there may or may not be a fee. Ask all of this when you make your reservation.

I agree with both of the prior answers ..1. Call the hotel direct, ask to speak to the manager and explain your plans. The manager has the ability to make decisions that staff members do not and you are less likely to be told something and when you arrive be told something totally different. Yes, do get their name. Also you may want to ask how booked they are for that day. Remember hotels overbook since a percentage of people who book do not show up. The later the check-in the higher percentage that you may not have a room at that hotel. Usually they will have a hotel nearby that has agreed to take their overflow. That is another reason you should talk to the manager. See if he/she will take a deposit so your room is really guaranteed. During this phone call make sure to mention if you need any special considerations such as cribs or roll away beds at 1 am there is very little staff available to run down these items. I would call a second time the day you are in route and once again talk with the manager and go over your situation. 2. If you are a Hilton member make sure to mention it there are benefits associated with the various levels.

I would call the hotel and ask the manager just to be sure. And get the person's name you are speaking to.

I've checked in as late as 1am when the hotel started check ins 3pm the day before. It all depends on who is working the front desk. I've experienced a time when I had a reservation for a certain day and check in was at 3pm but didn't show up til after midnight but was charged that first day and check out was 11am, so essentially I paid for only a few hours. Another time I checked in at 1am and the front desk clerk was nice enough not to charge me that previous day. He just considered me checking in that late as a "early" check in.
