Is the pool heated all year? If so, what is the temperature it is kept?

Our pool is heated all year around at 80 degrees. In the summer we will lower the temperature to avoid being too warm.

Apparently they heat the pool all year tho I'm not sure why cause it gets very warm in summer. The pool area is very nice. Not sure what temp they keep it.
