Not sure. Since we didn't need a reservation my thought would be if you can't make it one day, they would work with you to make another day work. The tour is indoors so it would be worth it to see even in the rain. Check with them.

I'm not sure, but I can tell you it was super cold, overcast and misting and they didn't cancel the tour. Until we reached the covered porch, we were out in the elements. And they didn't provide anything to help with the cold (heaters or offer hot drinks). If the weather isn't nice, you might want to inquire at the ticket booth as to how long the line is - they won't offer the information, but may tell you if you ask.
